Colors

This is a Hex Code Color Chart

When you're adding a color to your Web page with HTML, sometimes you can just type in the name of the color. But more often than not, you'll need to use what's called the hex code, which is something that the browser will be able to understand. Choose a color from the list below and look to its left to get the hex code. Then copy the hex code and use it when you're making layouts and stuff!

These are Normal Colors

Meaning that they require no number sign, or any numbers for that matter. Yipee! But you gotta remember to write them down as is. If you put a space between a word that doesn't, then it'll ruin it. So heed my word...

Scrollbars

As you can see on this color coded chart of a scrollbar, it shows you where everything is, so when you're making a scrollbar for your own layout or something, or that layout tutorial, you'll know where the colors are going.

Borders

These are what the borders look like, and what you write down. I got the borders off of blogring.net, but the synopsis are completely mine.
border: 1px none silver;
No border (duh)
border: 1px hidden silver;
I don't really know why anyone would wanna put a hidden border, still...
border: 1px solid silver;
It's just one, itty, bitty line.
border: 2px dotted silver;
The dots actually look like little squares.
border: 2px dashed silver;
At least this looks like what it's supposed to.
border: 3px double silver;
OoOooh this is two itty bitty lines.
border: 10px ridge silver;
This one's cool.
border: 10px groove silver;
So is this one.
border: 10px inset silver;
I don't like this one though. Two sides are dark, two sides are light.
border: 10px outset silver;
It's the same deal with this one!
